The Hope Light emits a beautiful blue bright light which brings on a natural calming effect.

Several studies show that there is a correlation between blue lights and lower suicide rates. Blue light has a calming effect, but don’t quite know why blue light may help reduce suicide attempts. Blue lights have been installed in Japan, Glasgow, Long Island, and several other cities all with mixed-to-positive results.  While we may not know, scientifically, how the blue light affects people, we think if the Hope Light saves one life, it’s worth the effort to install.

The Hope Light is a vapor tight LED fixture with a shatter-proof optically enhanced-diffuser. Its IP65 rating allows the luminaire to be dirt-and bug-free. It is designed to operate at up to 45°C/113°F ambient temperature. The Hope Light is an effective solution in high risk areas such as train stations, bridges and streets with a high crime rate.
